Warranty & Return Policy
1. Warranty Coverage and Term
Grey Goat Hardware provides this Limited Warranty to the original purchaser of hardware products bought directly from Grey Goat Hardware. This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
2. Warranty Service and Remedies
If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, Grey Goat Hardware will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished parts.
- Replace the product with a new or refurbished item of equivalent or upgraded specifications.
- Provide a refund for the original purchase price of the product.

You must return the product at your expense in its original packaging or with equivalent protection, along with:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
- A detailed description of the defect.
- The return address provided by our Customer Support team.
4. Limitations and Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents, broken plastic parts, or cosmetic damage).
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, abuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake, or external causes.
- Damage due to improper installation, maintenance, or service not performed by Grey Goat Hardware or an authorized provider.
- Use of unauthorized accessories, modifications, or non-original components.
- Products with removed, altered, or defaced serial numbers.
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grey Goat Hardware is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. This includes but is not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or commercial losses. Our total liability under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
6. Governing Law
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
7. Implied Warranties
Any implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to all customers.
Return Policy
1. Return Window
- Within 30 Days of Delivery
Eligible items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — no restocking fee.
- 31 to 90 Days After Delivery
Returns made between 31 and 90 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- After 90 Days
Returns are not accepted after 90 days.
2. Return Conditions

Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in resalable condition.

Original packaging is required. If returned without the original box or packaging, a 30% repackaging fee will apply per item.

All returns must be pre-approved (see Return Process below).

3. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns on:

Custom, cut-to-size, or made-to-order products

Used, installed, or altered items

Clearance, final sale, or discontinued products

Silicone, sealants, and adhesives (unless defective)
Products Not Eligible for Returns

4. Return Process
You may return items in one of the following ways:

Drop-off: Bring the item(s) to the front desk at our store.

Once received, all items will be inspected. Refunds will be issued after inspection, less any applicable fees (such as restocking or repackaging).
5. Refunds
✔ Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved or denied.
✔ If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 to 15 business days.
💳 Bank Processing Time: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
🚨 If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval, please contact accounting@ggshardware.com.
