Warranty & Return Policy

1. Warranty Coverage and Term

Grey Goat Hardware provides this Limited Warranty to the original purchaser of hardware products bought directly from Grey Goat Hardware. This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.


2. Warranty Service and Remedies

If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, Grey Goat Hardware will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product using new or refurbished parts.
  • Replace the product with a new or refurbished item of equivalent or upgraded specifications.
  • Provide a refund for the original purchase price of the product.

You must return the product at your expense in its original packaging or with equivalent protection, along with:

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

4. Limitations and Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents, broken plastic parts, or cosmetic damage).
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, abuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake, or external causes.
  • Damage due to improper installation, maintenance, or service not performed by Grey Goat Hardware or an authorized provider.
  • Use of unauthorized accessories, modifications, or non-original components.
  • Products with removed, altered, or defaced serial numbers.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grey Goat Hardware is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. This includes but is not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or commercial losses. Our total liability under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.


6. Governing Law

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.


7. Implied Warranties

Any implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to all customers.


Return Policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

All products are eligible for a refund if they meet the following conditions:

  • Item is in original condition, unworn, unused, with all tags attached.
  • Item is returned in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is provided.

Products Not Eligible for Returns

Stock Glass Doors, Sliding Door Panels, & Railing Panels.


2. How to Initiate a Return

If your return is accepted, we will provide:
✔ A return shipping label.
Instructions on how and where to send your package.

🚨 Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately. We will evaluate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund as needed.


4. Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

Certain items cannot be returned, including:
Stock Glass Doors and Fixed Glass Panels.
Custom or Special Orders (personalized items, made-to-order hardware, or custom-fabricated parts).
Final Sale items and Gift Cards.

If you have questions about a specific item, please contact us before purchasing.


5. Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a replacement product is to:
1️⃣ Return the original item (following our return process).
2️⃣ Once the return is accepted, place a new order for the replacement item.


6. Refunds

✔ Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved or denied.
✔ If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

💳 Bank Processing Time: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
